Description

Opening to the Great Transition

A workshop to purposefully and courageously explore our collective future

Facilitated by Sandy Wiggins

Saturday May 4, 2019

(space is limited, register early)

A time of disruption and our opportunity for change

The human family has entered a time of unprecedented change and profound choice. Climate change, the great wealth divide, species extinction, overpopulation and exponential technologies like AI are just a few of the powerful forces of our own making that are accelerating and now converging. The collective impact of these many trends shaping our world is literally beyond our comprehension. It is time for us to realistically envision the future being shaped by the enormous changes ahead in this century of great transition.

Coming together in community, in a context that supports us in our wholeness, offers spiritually-informed perspectives and makes space for our feelings, can foster understanding and empowerment. In community with others who share a similar impulse or desire, creative alternatives for our collective future can emerge. "The world doesn't change one person at a time. It changes as networks of relationships form among people who discover they share a common cause and vision of what's possible." [Margaret Wheatley & Deborah Frieze]

The Invitation

Please join us for this unique, experiential one-day workshop. Using immersive exercises, dialogue, guided meditation, videos, journaling, grief work, and more, we’ll explore the great transition through the driving trends that are shaping our world along side the emerging new story that deepens our relationship with all of life. We will create space to deepen our understanding and acceptance of the challenges ahead and to lean into the new paradigm that will make successful navigation of those challenges possible. The time to consciously design ourselves into the future is now.

This workshop is a good fit for you if any of these statements resonate:

  • I am concerned about my family’s future and the future of the world.

  • I sense profound shifts occurring in the world that are not being talked about.

  • I don't know what I can do to make a difference in the face of these changes.

  • I feel like there is deeper meaning to the shifts that are occcurring in the world.

  • I want to explore these issues with a community of other people who care about them.
